STEMapalooza Unplugged is a field trip to the Dorothy Inghram Learning Center that takes place after the online conference. Each selected school brings 70 fifth and sixth grade students to experience STEMapalooza lessons in person. Students rotate through three activities: a cyber escape room, a tower-building challenge, and Micro:bit programming. They also get to take home their own Micro:bits. Additionally, each teacher receives class sets of various STEM activity kits to teach additional STEMapalooza lessons upon returning to their school.
